Attempting to avoid the no-name batteries that only work for 3 months while also risking swelling and exploding - this battery charged up fully first time and ran the laptop idle for over 2 and 1/2 hours with 60% charge left. While this was for a client and I cannot give a long-term test, I can say that it performed very well for a first run.

It's a pretty good battery better than most but I have just come to the conclusion then aftermarket batteries just aren't the same as the original equipment

Not sure how else to put it. I've taken great care of this battery -- I always follow good charging protocols.In the computer, it still shows as being in good condition, but that's an inaccurate report: the battery will go from 30% charges to 5% to 0% quite fast. I've tested it with and without an external battery attached: it's not holding up well.It should still be in warranty, but I cannot find a way to contact the seller.

I can't comment on this battery because I will only know if it is bad, good or excellent after it has been in use for a while. It is exactly the same as the original battery and currently works fine.
