Very good to use, very satisfied, much larger than the original battery capacity. It can be used for 6 hours in power saving mode and 3 hours in high performance mode. It's an old computer, and it doesn't matter if it's original or not, it's good to use it.

I ordered this as a replacement for my 8-year-old Acer laptop. The original battery could not even hold a charge long enough to move the power supply from one outlet to another. This replacement gives me about the same run time as the OEM (about an hour and a half with a bright screen and no power saver options). Great value.

As far as battery life goes I am ecstatic but also starting from zero. There is also one less blinking light in my life. :) Just buy the necessary converters and bring the charger if you think that there will be a problem. And why buy/risk something new, when something old will do; especially in the middle of a chip shortage.
